PARIS, December the 12th 2005 - Boonty announces today the appointment of Pierre-Antoine Durgeat, 29 years old, as Technical Director. He will be dealing with the management and development of Boonty’s technical platform, which is in the heart of the generic video game digital distribution solution offered by Boonty to its partners: Internet portals, ISPs, mobile phone operators, advertisers and PC manufacturers…
Previously Technical Director and Mappy SA Management Committee member, Pierre-Antoine Durgeat has an eight-year experience as Technical Director and Manager in innovative technology companies.
With a degree from the School of Electricity and Electronics (SUPELEC), Pierre-Antoine Durgeat started his career in March 1997, when he established his own company: S.N.V. As founder, associate and Technical Director, he released a production line of photographic database of cities, indexed and published on Internet (6 million photos of buildings).
In November 2001, S.N.V merged with Mappy. Pierre-Antoine Durgeat was appointed as Technical Director and a Management Committee member of Mappy SA, subsidiary of Yellow Pages. He participates in the revision, conception and management of the geographical platform development. Pierre-Antoine Durgeat has also been able to keep Mappy’s site, http://mappy.com, at the forefront of technology, contributing to its economical success.
